Why? Well it's all in the compacting of the mix; a compact mix results in a longer lasting fizzier bath bomb in the tub. Yes of course you can use other moulds - soap moulds, silicone tray moulds, petit four & muffin cases and even recycled tubs and containers. But if you're after a good solid bath bomb these should be your first stop.
